Girders

Metal girders are structural bearing units.
Main girder components are straight-line rods, joint connections (hinged connections are possible).
Girders differ by their type and purpose as follows:
- girders with curved top belt (arched girders);
- closed girders (open-frame girders);
- girders with out-of-node loading;
- pinched trusses;
- light-weighted and heavy-weighted girders;
- bridge girders etc.
